Scope of service
Schmerztagebuch is a personal documentation tool for self-reported pain entries. The app stores your entries locally, presents them clearly, and can generate a report and a data export on request. The app is explicitly not a medical device — see the medical disclaimer for details.
Personal use
The app is intended for your own personal, non-commercial use. No account or registration is required.
No medical advice
The app does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not make medical decisions based solely on information shown in the app.
Optional intelligent features
Individual features may optionally use Apple's language models (locally on your device, or — after separate consent — via Apple Private Cloud Compute). These features only summarize or rephrase your own entries; they do not generate new medical content and do not produce diagnoses. Review any content suggested by the app before adopting or reusing it.
Responsibility for entries and shares
You are responsible for the accuracy of your own entries. If you actively send exports, reports, or screenshots via iOS's share function, you are responsible for that sending and for the recipients.
Paid features
Version 1.0 of the app contains no paid features and no in-app purchases.
Liability
The publisher is liable without limitation under statutory provisions for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, liability is limited, to the extent legally permissible, to typical, foreseeable damages arising from a slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation.
